Avoid carrying your baby/child while popping your hip out to the side.  This can cause pain in the muscles, bones, discs and joints of the back and pelvis area.  Keep your feet hip width apart and your weight evenly distributed on both feet with the back straight.

If carrying your baby/child with your hip popped out, also try to alternate between both sides to even out the load.
