Quick tips:

  • Don’t slouch! Slouching puts more pressure on the discs and vertebrae of your back.

  • The monitor should be placed directly in front of you, with the top at approximately eye level.

  • Maintain good head and neck posture, keep your ears over your shoulders.

  • Keep your shoulders relaxed and elbows bent to approximately 90 degrees.

  • Keep the mouse and keyboard close enough that you don't have to reach out

  • Hips and knees bent 90 degrees, feet flat on floor or footrest.

  • Avoid sitting on anything that would create an imbalance or uneven pressure (like your wallet).
