Hip Mobility and Stability Challenge VIDEO

Training and improving your mobility is important for increasing or keeping your range of motion in the joints and help keep them functioning properly.  Mobility and stability will keep your joints healthy and help prevent injuries, our joints need regular movement to keep them healthy.  If a joint is not moving properly then the joints above and below can be affected.  Maintaining or improving hip mobility can help with low back pain and/or knee pain which is common from overuse or compensation from the lack of range of motion in the hips.

Stability is the ability to control the joint while moving it through motion, having the strength and control to use the right muscles at the right times during movement.  Therefore hip mobility and stability are both important and should be practiced.
